' Getting his local start in the Acoustic Showcase performances at Dinkytown's Borealis, Erik Espe is fast
becoming a must see in the local music scene. His
trademark pure voice, melodic guitar accompaniment,
and insightful lyrics expressively speak of
twenty-something experiences: love, work,
friendships, and reflections on life. His are the kind of
songs that tempt a listener to play them on repeat,
singing along as the words become familiar. Espe has
recently released a CD and consequently it has
become easier to learn seven of his original songs and
two Martin Sexton covers, complete with that Espe
style. Experience him live and enjoy his mellow songs
