'As soon as you see a CD called Greatest Sh!ts! you think you're in for some sh#t, right? Not in rhis case. This is the most outrageous piece of work I've heard in a long time. They take a swipe at numerous subjects, are highly obnoxious, but very original and contagiously funny. These guys and George Carlin might just make a hell of a pair.'~ Havel Media 'A Strange Traffic of Dreams, Magellan's 27th (!!) release, opens with the somnolence of Pink Floyd, but much lighter and airy... Among other sounds on the album are blues, blues-rock, ballads, straight foreward rock 'n' roll, and jazz influenced passages. This is a serious piece of work by a mature group of excellent song-writers.'~ Raging Smolder 'Funny how people can spend too much time hunting for good sounds by Indies, but CD's like this make it worthwhile. I haven't heard anything like this in years... It gave me a whole new ambience. Gave me a feeling of comfort and looseness. At times it was too deep. Its moodiness seemed to relate an ironic, bittersweet happiness. And if that lush music was any smoother I could spread it on my bread. Great CD... (Ghost of a Living Twilight)'~ The Soundshop |
