Atomic Flea is a Minneapolis based pop-rock group whose core members have been playing and writing music together in the Twin Cities since 1996. BABADEBABA, the latest release from Atomic Flea, brings the band’s sound to a whole new level, thanks to a continually evolving songwriting style, and the talents of co-producer Ben Durrant (Andrew Bird) of Crazy Beast studio. Spanning 2-1/2 years of work, the album moves from signature pop tunes to more spacious, introspective songs. Sounds influences start with the Beatles and range from Guided by Voices to Elliot Smith to Crash Test Dummies.
