The Histronic is a three-piece live electronica group, specializing in progressive trance and live electronia. Although they are new to the Minneapolis music scene the members of the Histronic are no strangers to performing live or recording in the studio. All three members of the group come from diverse musical backgrounds, but The Histronic is a fresh musical endeavor for the power trio, and it calls upon the band to step outside their comfort zone, and into a genre in which live improvisations and spur of the moment breakdowns are prevalent. The group draws material from all three members, creating a true collaboration and very unique sound. The Drummer, Stereo Adik, is the foundation of the Histronic Sound. Incorporating electronics into his acoustic drum kit, he pounds the bass drum to the floor with authority, and keeps the groove driving with his unique style of trance drumming and composition. The Bass Player, Waveiator Williams, locks in tightly with the drums, and keeps the crowd intrigued with powerful dance bass lines, synth effects, and great stage presence. Williams, a very diverse composer, writes songs that span many genres from Hip - Hop to Electronica. The Keyboardist, West Sylva, makes the Histronic Sound complete. Sylva adds synth textures with catchy lead lines, and navigates multiple synthesizers. Known for venturing into creative sonic territory, Fox tweaks knobs and pedals to get mind-bending sounds.
