nurturing her love affair with ink and page, rhyme and stage, isis has created for herself a montage of eclectic rhymes, emotional rants, socio-political soliloquies and stories of love and growth and inspiration. over the past several years, she has performed all over the Twin Cities, including First Avenue, Triple Rock Soul, the Quest, Intermedia Arts, Blue Moon, Blue Nile, Paisley Park and around the country, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, New Jersey and Washington, DC.

she is also the co-founder/executive director of Minneapolis-based Soulistic Playhouse where she has co-produced and performed in daring, avante garde pieces such as Re/membering Aunt Jemima: A Menstrual Show and for colored girls and black boys: the remix.

as a performance artist, she has performed at such venues as Hamline University, with the Youth Performance Company, Acadia Cabaret and Theatre, with the Revolutionary Women's Caberet, Intermedia Arts and Mixed Blood Theatre.
