Eternal Sunshine, which is a name that Neil adopted because he never wanted to go by his name, first started to form in the summer of 2004. Neil, an 18 year old senior at Forest Lake Highschool, got his first guitar when he was 16. Previous to that he played cello for a few years. It is hard to give one genre to any band, but Neil himself says that he is a combination of: indie, blues and folk. Many of Eternal Sunshine's songs are deep in meaning and have a serious nature. Although Neil is just starting out he is showing a lot of songwriting talent. He says Eternal Sunshine will be around for a while, at least he hopes.
