Larry Ravenswood & the Aura consists of Larry Ravenswood, Nichole Cassavant, and Eric Larson. Our sound is tough to describe, but we are often told we sound a bit dreamy, a little ethereal, and yet - we know how to rock!
Larry plays his acoustic guitar like it's an electric - that needs to be punished. His vocals and lyrics are dark and even a little haunting - a theme throughout is how everyone's choices define us and create our destiny. But don't think this is depressing stuff - in the end, it's uplifting, like a bittersweet dream. Nichole on bass and Eric on drums give the sound backbone and a little bit of devil-may-care attitude. |
