Culture of Violence, a Minneapolis based hard rock/metal band, started their carrer in April 2006. After some changes in their music and their line up, they began rockin' out several venues in the Twin Cities, Minnesota making great fans and leaving a positive impression on their local scene. All with the mix of melodies, power, groove and the brutality of their musical style.

Each member of the band offers their own facet of music combining the melodies and grooves of modern hard rock and the power, skill and brutality of modern metal. The combination defines a new genre of rock, yet utilizing classic methods of some of the best musicians the scene has to offer evolving into a new level of music which is CULTURE OF VIOLENCE.

Every musician involved yields their own unique style that culminates in these amazing musical creations. Jorge brings powerful vocals accompanied by well thought out lyrics. Chris adds his exclusive 4 string talent to the table, as well as accompanying Jorge with his vocal harmonies. Ian donates hardcore metal riffs, while reinventing every aspect of soloing, ranging from shredding to bluesy melodies. Steve carries the intensity of the band with an original style of percussion, featuring his progressive yet driven beats.

After their blistering and violent first shows in the Twin Cities (where there is always a mosh pit), the band has begun their career and fan base with great feedback, leaving a mark amongst everyone who witnesses them. Currently the band is looking to invade the local and national music scene with their unique mix of brutal, melodic grooves. Be sure to come and check out their shows.
