Caviani has performed with such notables as harmonica legend Toots Theilemans, Concord recording artist Karrin Allyson, and saxophonists Bob Mintzer and Dave Liebman. Her tours have taken her to Japan, Seattle, Washington DC, Kansas City, and throughout the midwest, incuding her home state of Minnesota.
In ‘97, Caviani received a grant from the Atlantic Center for the Arts to study with renowned pianist and composer JoAnne Brackeen. That same year she received the Nathan M. Pusey Distinguished Achievement Award from Lawrence University, her undergraduate alma mater. The following year she was one of four musicians from the United States selected to study in Japan at the Akiyoshidai International Art Village. She currently performs with the new Jazz Orchestra JazzMN, a Twin Cities based Jazz Ensemble featuring such acclaimed legends as Arturo Sandoval, Bernadette Peters, and James Moody.
