Lojo Russo

Ms. Russo is known for repeated outbursts of beatnik jargon while frequenting indie coffeehouses that offer international magazines.
She is overly fond of the movie, Tank Girl,
Friz Freleng cartoons, Volkswagens, the colour candy-apple blue, and spelling words like 'colour' as if she's from Merry Olde England.
Her production company, L'J'R'DEMAIN MUSIC, is a front for an organization that supports tossing rotten fruit as a deterrent to public stupidity.

Russo delivers an assortment of laughter and tears, quiet and rage – a balanced mix of unpretentious bravado, with a writing style that’s as diverse as her vocal range. From her days as a bass player for a local psychedelic group to her years as a Celtic musician on the circuit Russo has done it, seen it and played it all - each time with more enthusiasm then the last.

In 1997 Russo put together her band called, Funks Grove. Funks Grove had established themselves in the local and regional music community as a solid, well produced group. As one reviewer put it, 'They know how to get the job done'.
Even after the breakup of her band Russo is still getting the job done.
