Mary is an award winning song writer. She has won recognition at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, as well as being chosen for the first songwriters showcase at the International Bluegrass Music Association gathering in Louisville, Kentucky. Geoff writes instrumentals for flatpick and fingerstyle guitar, as well as frailing banjo. They have two CD's to date - Prairie Smoke and Kansas Dancing - and are working on number 3 presently. This recording should be out in the summer of 2001.
