Jabberwocky is an eclectic rock band from the Minneapolis/St Paul area of Minnesota. Our songs combine elements such as blues, funk, punk, and straight-up, good ol' fashioned rock and roll. Our live shows are packed from beginning to end with unique original songs, select covers, and infectious energy.
Jabberwocky makes it a point to make sure each show is a unique experience, by varying setlists and doing whatever it takes to get the crowd going. Because of this, our fans keep coming, show after show.
Jabberwocky's roots run deep, as many of it's members have played together for over 10 years in a number of bands, such as Alterego and Ground. Jabberwocky came together in March of 2001 when Ben Wilcox, Corey Nash, and Chad Stelzig were joined by guitarist Ryan Nelson, creating the Jabberwocky sound and texture. In September of 2003, Greg Fineberg was added to the Jabberwocky mix as our new bass player, and the musical madness continued. With new songs constantly emerging from improvisational jams, the list of Jabberwocky's original songs continues to grow at an alarming rate. The songs themselves are as varied as human emotion.
