THE AMBER ESTATE is a Minneapolis-based rock band, focused on unique sounds and expressive songwriting. The three-piece band was formed out of long-time friendships, stemming from a small Wisconsin town. Instrumentation includes 'Mutt' (a bass/guitar hybrid), synthesizers, lap steel guitar, samplers, acoustic and electronic drums and two distinct voices. Nick Meyer, editor of Volume One magazine said this: 'Dense with vocal harmonies and intricate-yet-accessible hooks, The Amber Estate creates genuinely fresh rock songs, so fresh it’s hard to hear exactly where they might be coming from. Take any really great pop tune and tilt it to the left just a touch, that’s the sound of The Amber Estate.' THE AMBER ESTATE independently released its debut self-titled album in early 2004.
