Snorri's contemporary instrumental music is well known in the Twin Ports. Born in Iceland, one of the most beautiful countries in the world who's clean and pristine environment remains unharmed by human encroachment, Snorri uses his love of nature to create music that is uplifting to the human spirit while at the same time helps you relax from everyday stress. Iceland is a land of contrasts. It is largely a vast unspoiled wilderness with large glaciers, frequent volcanic eruptions, geysers, deep fjords, and waterfalls, which make this small island resemble a depiction of Middle-Earth per Tolkien. It is no wonder why such a place would so richly influence Snorri's music. Virtually a self-taught musician, Snorri attended a University in Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991 with B.Sc. and in 1993 with M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering. Less demanding and relaxing melodic music has always appealed to Snorri. Besides Classical Music, his favorite music is contemporary instrumental music, which he states allows the composer to express deep emotions in a very special way. I like to use my music to express feelings of sadness, beauty, and happiness. Some of my pieces are mixed with environmental sound effects, yielding soothing and relaxing music that lasts.

Snorri has released 4 CDs since 1999. These are 'Aurora Borealis', 'Butterflies', 'Cosmic Journey', and 'A Starry Night in Charleville'. He has also released the video 'Celebrating Nature', in which he brings beautifully filmed nature scenes to his music. Snorri's music has been played on radio and TV on both sides of the Atlantic, and as far south as in Australia. In fact, he remains one of the top selling local artists in the Twin Ports area.
