Like tiny stalagmites and stalactites, the MotionPilots have been growing in the caves of the music scene for the last few years. The recent addition of DJ Rickerd on drums in early 2007 completed the puzzle. DJ, Dash, Reilly, and Eric are the cohesive energy that will melt snow in the winter and kill grass in the summer. With victory in four out of four battle of the bands and a recording deal with a440 studios, they went into the studio to record the tracks of what would become their debut CD.
In March of 2008, the MotionPilots released their debut album and sold over 300 copies in their opening night. The guntar T-Shirt, provided by an endorsement by Miller beer, has become a staple of the PromotionPilots (MotionPilots fan club) MotionPilots are here to stay for the long haul.
