Organ Donors formed 3 years ago when pianist Paul Fraser, bassist Nick Palmer, and drummer/percussionist Josh Carlson began to play a sound that was based on funk rhythms and technical improvisations. Later, DJ Andy Brown was added to the donor list, completing a sound that is sometimes funk, sometimes spunk, but always crunk. From the very beginning, the ODs hypnotized audiences in Southern Minnesota and Wisconsin, opening for local legends like The (Olympic) Hopefuls and Heiruspecs, and performing at Summerfest 2006 in Milwaukee. Now, relocated from country drawl to urban sprawl, they hope to spread their music across the Midwest with their energetic live performances.
