With a lot of music history flowing in his bloodlines, this Alabama native should be best describe as an explosive artist with versatile skills. GT aka Koncept, first started rappin at the age of 10 being influenced by the late great Tupac, Biggie Smalls and Naughty By Nature. GT has done everything from being in a local choir to even doing talent shows at schools, parks and in various teen clubs. Back in 1995, GT moved to San Antonio, Tx coming from overseas with his father being in the US Army. Quickly GT was turned on the freestyle battling with local hardheads and being a big fan of the Texas style screwed music. Time to time, GT would travel back in forth from Texas to Alabama to see his childhood buddies struggling also trying to make in the rap scene. In 1999, GT's grandfather had passed away due to cancer and GT and his mother were forced to move back to Alabama to take care of his grandmother. There on, GT would hook back up with his childhood friends and they would form a group called DA BAMA BOYZ. They made a complete album and sold over 2000 copies out of the trunk. GT would always stand out amongst the other group members because he came with a different style, that Texas style. Everybody in town nicknamed him TEXAS and it still sticks with him until this day. In 2001, GT would move back to San Antonio where he would start his own independent record label Mobb Muzik. GT has done shows in San Antonio, Austin, Pensacola, Fl, Atlanta, Ga and Anniston, Al and would also collab with other underground artist to get his name out there. Currently GT has the best artists on the roster, Shadeaux and Blaqheart. These cats are gonna change the face of the industry says GT. GT is also working on the debut album which is titled, Peace Of Mind which will be out in 2004 which will be promoted to radio and retail and even through the internet. GT is a very explosive artist who will be making noise like never before.
