mertka the frontman has been in the underground music industry of turkey for the last 13 years.
NECROPHILIA the black metal band (1995-1998)FALLEN the doom metal band (1996-1999)
are the early time kicks of mertka.
of course with those kinds of extreme metal bands a man can't stay alive so long.
to earn money to hold on to music mert founded so many bands to play club gigs..etc. in istanbul,izmir,eskişehir,antalya,balıkesir and some more cities of turkey.
the most recognizable band of this period was MR.BLUE the delta blues and chicago blues cover band of him.
after that mert spent a long time with a focus on turkish sufi music.
the people listenin' told it was the new wave of turkish sufi music an' it's right.
the traditional instruments(especially drums)were singing nevereverheard before melodies in the arms of 4.GATE.
the copies of the demotapes of the bands have been told above traveled many miles and reached the people interested in the underground miracles all around the world.
of course it's hard to understand how a man can play the ex-metal and the sufi music in that near times.
'cause all those happened nearly in ten years.
it was the journey of mine to become mature mert says about those times.
now the beautiful songs written from those periods of life are on the dusty archives of the indie labels of turkey.
and also are the unforgetable memories of the fans.
ı hope someday you can hear the woodoo chile of hendrix from mert.
you'll hear the light still shinin' from his strat.

Gitarist,vokalist,s�z yazarı,besteci.
1981 temmuzunda İzmir Karşıyaka�da doğdu.
Babası m�zisyen Mehmet Kamiller�in peşinde kulislerde,sahnelerde b�y�d�.
Necdet Karar jazz triosuna fahri roadielik yaptı.
Orta okul yıllarında altı telliye vurmaya başladı.
Yakın arkadaşları ile başarılı,başarısız pek �ok grup girişimi oldu.
18 yaşına gelmesiyle birlikte sahnelere �ıkabildi.�ok sevdi,inmedi�

NECROPHILIA isimli grubuyla metal,THE FALLEN isimli grubuyla Doom metal,
D�RD�NC� KAPI ile sufi-experimental,
Mr.BLUE ile Chicago blues �aldı,s�yledi.
Demolar kaydetti.Sattı karnını doyurdu.
ELECTRICKS isimli bir Jimi Hendrix tribute band kurdu.
MERT KAMİLLER TRIO,MERT N� THE BAND isimleriyle Oriental-psychodelic rock �aldı.T�rkiye�yi turladı.Olimposta ve Kelebekler vadisinde iki yaz boyunca akustik gitarıyla performans yaptı.

2003�te DAR-�L EFKAR�ı kurdu.
2005�e kadar hazırlandılar.
2005 başında 13 şarkılık ARZ isimli bir alb�m kaydetti.
İnandık�a ben isimli şarkılarına konser g�r�nt�lerinden editlenen bir video hazırlattı.
Hazırladığı promo paketleri alakalı alakasız herkese g�nderdi.
Konu paketler pek �ok radyo programı ,tv programı,festival ve parti organizasyonlarının kapılarını a�tı.

Web �zerinde y�zbinlerce tıklandı.
2005 kayıtları 2008�de plak firmalarından birka�ında yankı buldu.
2008 haziranında 3,5 yaşındaki ARZ, ATLANTİS MUZİK tarafından lisanslandı.
2009�da raflara geldi.

DAR-�L EFKAR ile ikinci alb�m� SUR�u kaydediyor.
